What Is The History Of Sunseeker?

Sunseeker was born in Poole, a historic coastal town in England, in 1969. Although it was acquired by new ownership in 2013, Sunseeker’s manufacturing base and commitment to heritage quality have remained the same for over fifty years. The brand began life as Poole Powerboats, a venture by engineer and entrepreneur Idris Braithwaite, who propelled a small, local boat dealership into in-house production. This modest start gave way to immense success as Poole Powerboats became Sunseeker, an international icon whose yachts have features in a range of blockbusters, most famously Quantum of Solace. Today, Sunseeker employs nearly 2,000 employees, each collaborating to produce impeccably stylish yachts for a global market.
